Not safely, the most common sockets in India are the 6A type D and 16A type M and no universal adaptors currently on the market support those plug types. It is possible to use the type C plug (that all universal adaptors have) in a type D socket but the pins are smaller (4mm vs 5.1mm) and therefore make a loose fit, which can result in sparking which is dangerous.
