A type G travel adaptor is a device for converting electrical plugs to a configuration with 3 rectangular pins that will fit the type G sockets found in the UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. They do not convert the voltage or frequency of the electrical supply. British travellers do not need these as they use type G plugs domestically.
