Type C Plug Compatibility
Compatible with: Type C outlets. Cross compatible with type E, F, H, J, K, L, N & O outlets. They will also fit into a type D outlet but the pins are too small resulting in a poor fit, which can be dangerous.

A type C travel adapter will convert your American (type A/B) plugs to a 2 prong (ungrounded) configuration that will fit the type C outlets generally found in Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. They do not convert the voltage or frequency of the electrical supply.

Yes, a Schuko plug (type F) is a grounded version of the European type C plug. They will fit type C outlets but will not a make a ground connection.
