Please be aware that whilst a travel adapter will allow you to physically plug a US plug into a different outlet it will not change the voltage or frequency of the supply.
Voltage - Multiple voltages are in use in Saudi Arabia . It is essential therefore that you check what the voltage is locally before you plug in an appliance. In some countries different sockets are used for the different voltages but this is not necessarily the case so always check first. US appliances will generally operate satisfactorily with a voltage anywhere in the range 114V - 126V. If the local voltage is in the range 100V - 113V many appliances will still work perfectly well but if you have sensitive or expensive items such as medical equipment or computers you will need to check your appliance for compatibility. If the voltage is over 126V it is incompatible with most US appliances (US voltage is currently specified as 120 V + /- 5%). Check any appliances that you wish to use carefully to see what voltage is specified. Items such as laptops will often specify "100 - 240V" either on the equipment or the power supply (if it has one). If not then you will need a transformer to operate your appliance. If it is not marked as able to accept the local voltage do not plug it in! It is extremely dangerous to attempt to operate appliances at higher voltages than they are rated for and may result in damage to the appliance, fire and serious injury to the operator
Frequency - The frequency is 60 Hz which is the same as the US.
