A type K travel adaptor will convert your electrical plugs to a 3 pin (earthed) configuration that will fit the type K sockets found in Denmark and Greenland. They do not convert the voltage or frequency of the electrical supply.

Yes, they are cross compatible and can be used safely although the type C pins are slightly smaller than type K plugs (4mm vs 4.8mm). Type C plugs are 2 pin (unearthed) and are therefore not suitable for connecting earthed appliances.
